A Conservative businessman and leader just like President Trump.
Ned White
A successful businessman, job creator, public servant, husband and father, Ned White knows we need real conservative leadership to build a great future here in North Louisiana.
Ned will bring a business approach to running Louisiana government, just like President Trump is doing in Washington. We need fiscal responsibility, lower inflation, and more jobs. Born and raised in North Louisiana, Ned is driven to help North Louisiana succeed as our next Public Service Commissioner.
As the son of a single mother, Ned learned from a young age that hard work is the difference between a life of poverty or success.
Working for his grandfather’s business starting in junior high school, Ned went from running errands to working with customers. He worked his way through high school to college.
In his early twenties, Ned achieved his dream of owning a business. He learned how to manage a business loan, balance the books, service customers, work with local government authorities, and build a business from scratch.
Ned White has gone on to build and grow businesses over the years from real estate to timber, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and even gaming (like President Trump). Ned has been successful using the same tools he learned as a young man, hard work and a “can-do” attitude.
While building and growing job-creating businesses, Ned has also helped raise a family.
Married for two decades to Ashley Odom White, they have two children, Nolan Thompson and Brighton Thompson Robertson, a son-in-law, Reed Robertson, and four beautiful grandchildren Hayes Thompson and Merris, David and Frances Robertson.
Ned and Ashley are members of the Christ Church of West Monroe.
He is a member of the NRA, Louisiana Sheriff’s Association and the Louisiana State Troopers Association.
He is an avid sportsman, hunting and fishing in Louisiana. Ashley and Ned have actively supported numerous charities in the community.
Several years ago, because of his success in business and commitment to growing our economy, Ned White was appointed to the Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board. Ned served the citizens of our state, working to ensure mineral leases on state lands and waters were beneficial to the people of Louisiana by acquiring the best royalty and lease payments for the state.
